Description:
From out of the “80’s”comes an outstanding, gently used, well cared for, bosal that was regularly conditioned with rawhide conditioner. The maker is unknown, however it is very evident that he or she was a great artist at braiding rawhide. My guess is perhaps 24 plat ¾”sides and 60+? plat 1” nose. Inside length is 12”, inside width is 5”.The rawhide is the darker natural rawhide; not the bleached rawhide that has become so common. Braided over a rawhide core and is of medium stiffness. Comes with a gently used mane hair mecate consisting of six cream colored strands twisted around a horse-hair core resulting in a ¾” diameter mecate with a lot of size and feel. Just shy of twenty-two feet. $215.00 includes shipping to the lower 48. Please view my other listings.
