He is out of a mare that throws everything you want in a horse, fabulous dispostion, good looks and color. We have broek, trained and rode many full siblings to Bear and every one of them have been excellent horses. Bear is just like all the rest of them. Smart, Gentle and Kind. We sent him with Ken to one of his colt starting clinics becuase Ken asked if we had a gentle, good minded colt that a 78yr old gentleman could start for his fist colt to break. This cold did excellent at the clinic, took care of his trainer and the gentleman did a great job starting Bear. Since that time Bear has been used all over the ranch , ridden in rough and rocky country. He is sure footed, goes where you ask and always willing to please. Bear is just coming into the prime of his life and he has so much potential to go any direction from ranch work, to the arena, to a fantasici trail horse. He is friendly and likes people, he’s easy to catch, saddles up quiet every time, stands good for the farrier, loads in and backs out of the trailer with ease.
