"Spurs" is an 18yr old black Grade Gelding. He does it all. He can head, heel, or breakaway. I’ve been using him the past 2 years for college rodeo and he does great in every aspect: Fine behind rope barrier, calm when scored on, rates good, knows his job, good stop, stands for farrier, easy keeper, ropes heel o matic fine, drags calves, good on trails, etc. He’s super mellow and knows when he has to do his job. Any level rider can ride him. All the way from a college rodeo or #12 jackpot to a beginner who has never swung a rope before. He’ll give you the same shot every time.
