If you are looking for a quiet, safe trail horse with a sweet personality and the good looks to turn heads everywhere you take her, then check out Misty. She is a stout 8 year old grey mare, 15hh with a big hip, dark mane and tail, and a pretty head with a kind eye. Misty has an amazing personality and loves attention, and will stand there all day for you to love on her. She is the first one to come up to you in the pasture and will stick her head in the halter for you. Misty has been used primarily as a trail horse, and has been ridden on the ranch around cattle. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and nothing spooks her. She rides quietly on a loose rein, preferring to go slow rather than fast, but will easily trot or lope if asked. Misty stays gentle even if not ridden regularly, the type of horse you just saddle up and go ride without needing a ton of warm up. She rides just as good bareback with a halter as she does with a saddle and bridle. We have carried a flag on Misty in high winds and she didn’t mind at all, and she would make an amazing drill horse. Misty can be ridden by herself or with other horses. Misty has a nice stop and back up, but does need a little work on her handle. She is a really nice mare that just needs a little finishing out, but is so gentle and willing and good minded that it won’t take long to finish. Misty just had her coggins pulled, teeth floated and feet done. She has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe. $3500 Sells as GRADE.
