Description:
Work Scope: Lead person to manage a 3,500 acre cattle and hay ranch in SE Oregon (Adel). Will supervise 1 to 3 employees. Duties involve all aspects of operating a cow-calf livestock ranch and related summer hay activities (cut, rake & bale). This is not a cowboy job, but horse skills are desirable.

Experience & Qualifications: Applicant needs to have good related experience including cattle handling skills; management capability to supervise employees; experience with farm and hay equipment operation, maintenance & repair; a valid Oregon Driver’s License; physically fit and ability to lift 50# sacks of seed to load a grain drill; ability to perform fence building, implement repairs & perform routine ranch maintenance.

Compensation: Monthly salary + nice 3BR/2Ba house, utilities, truck, beef + opportunity to run a limited number of employee owned cattle and/or horses. Ideal situation for employee with family including elementary school age children as local school is within 1 mile proximity.
