Description:
Sancho is a cute, well built 12 year old buckskin gelding, 14.3hh with a good hip, four black feet and plenty of bone. Sells as grade. He is low to the ground but stout enough to carry a big man. He has been ridden on the ranch and on trails his entire life, on multi day and week long rides. He is very athletic and has been taught how to travel out, and can go all day long if you ask him to. Sancho could easily be a performance horse, all he needs is for someone to spend a little time with him and finish him out. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Sancho is good on both leads and has a decent handle and stop. He will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He rides quietly on a loose rein with plenty of speed when you need it. Sancho can be ridden by himself or with other horses, will happily lead or follow and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Sancho just had his coggins pulled, teeth floated and new shoes put on, and is ready for a new home.
