Long Pines Land & Livestock, one the largest herd of Irish Blacks in the U.S., has an outstanding selection of purebred, registered Irish Black range bulls for sale by private treaty. We culled deep for the absolute top from our 2017 calf crop – fewer than 10 bulls offered.



Perfect for the commercial cattle herd – cross on Angus, Hereford, Simmental, Charolais, etc. All are herd sire quality. Great bulls to start or improve your Irish Black purebreds, too!



All bulls were born in Spring 2017 on our ranch in northwest South Dakota and raised by us. Genomic tested by Igenity for performance traits, coat color and polled status, and ultrasounded for carcass quality. These bulls have been range- and forage-developed and have quiet dispositions. All have passed our rigorous breeding soundness requirements, including negative Trichomoniasis test.



The Long Pines herd features legacy lineage of breed founder Maurice Boney’s proven dams and herd sires, making us the nation’s premier source of Irish Black and Irish Red cattle.
