Description:
Whiskey is a 8 year old, 15 hand, 1150#, Bay ranch gelding. He is off the Muleshoe Ranch and carries their brands. A sharp looking horse with a little keen head and a big soft eye, good withers, and deep hip. We’ve owned him since last Fall and used him here on our ranch in central New Mexico for all ranch duties. He is a superior ranch horse that excels at all ranch duties. Roped a lot of cattle outside and drug lots of cattle to brand. He is cowy and will watch one to sort but very quite in the herd or pen of calves. A very good minded gelding on the laid back side but will run to one to rope or stop a run off and then go right back to walking on a loose rein. He is very broke, rides one handed on a loose rein, and stays in the bridle. He has a smooth jog trot you can sit for miles. Whiskey is a gentle horse that stays gentle after a layoff, bred the best with tons of looks and ability.
