I can offer a highly aggressive approach to buying low, selling high, while maintaining a low cost of gain on readily available feed sources. I have the contacts, market leads, experience and ambition. I am looking for a partner with some working capital,a location and feed options.... we can build the facility and I require very little for equipment. I am 45 years old and in my prime. I have 30+ years experience in all classes of production agriculture and that many years experience in all classes of livestock...at high volume. I grew up in sale barns and have managed to stay on the top end of reputable status. I am a currently an active buyer of sheep & goats; 12 years experience. I can provide several good references and will ask the same from you. I doubt I can do much with the standard, old model of ewes on a BLM lease; we want well fed stock on residues, cover-crops or in a feedlot setting with full bellies, high conception rates and high rates of gain. You show me what you have in your area and we can come up with a plan. Irrigated acres can sometimes make more grazed than farmed. I have just as many years invested in the cattle business; especially in aggressive marketing and can help with a cattle program but can produce the most with sheep and goats. I can deliver some very impressive ROI’s and can easily substantiate them but please do not expect all the details on market stock from just one phone call, but I am glad to visit with anyone interested. I am in this to make a profit and build something. I am a Christian, divorced and have no children. My wages/salary are negotiable and can be split by profit sharing or performance percentage. I can get along with almost anyone and have worked with a diverse group of individuals. I have the flexibility to train anyone that is willing to listen and learn. I, myself, learn something everyday. An ideal day for me would involve walking pens or sorting in the morning. Planning the needs of the day as they come;and I am not above herding or moving stock on horseback with a good cell signal to handle anything else. I plan on keeping things "in-house" with a hand in every function from feeding to loading. It’s only through constant assessment to know if you can hire something cheaper.
