Ron is from Canyon, Texas and it is maker marked with his stamp. Ron started building in 1987 and worked for Bob Marrs. He is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen & Mike Graham. The headstall is made from Herman Oak harness leather and is nice and supple. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. It has a very nice buckle made by David Hunt from Panhandle, Texas. The back of the buckle is marked Hunt and with his brand 7H. It is steel mounted with nickel silver and the steel is fully engraved. It is attached to the headstall with latigo lace leather. This would be a very nice headstall to use.
