The bit is marked TB and ©. He calls this bit the #292 Sheridan Equalizer. Tom has been a full time maker since 1985 and is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles and Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. The cheeks are steel mounted with stainless dots. The mouthpiece has copper rollers on the bars. It has stainless steel ball hinges with a steel mouth piece. This bit has not seen much use but it was in humid country and the steel cheek pieces have corrosion and rust build up which does not affect the working condition of the bit. He sells this bit new on his website for $460. This would be a nice bit to use.
