Glenn is listed in the Modern Makers spur book by Ned and Jody Martin. Glenn learned to build from Billy Klapper and has been building bits, spurs, and hardware since 1994. The bit is marked Pointer 17 on the spoon. The bit is steel with loose rein rings. There was wear on the center rings and the previous owner had Pointer repair the center rings. There is some play at the cheek piece hinges. This bit has a lot of life left in it. It is mounted with nickel silver. This would be a nice bit to use or to add to a collection.
