Description:
This is a lightly used pair of handmade single mounted spurs made by bit and spur maker Wayne Dollar from Hereford, Texas. They are marked $ and number 712 on the outside of the heel bands. Wayne is a long time bit and spur maker that is no longer taking custom orders and his work does not show up for sale very often. Wayne is listed in Bits & Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. The spurs are steel with a dark iron finish and are mounted with fourteen pieces of sterling silver fill. This would be a nice pair of spurs to wear or to add to a collection.

Measurements: Heel Band Width a little less than 1”, Shank 1 ⅞”, Rowel Diameter 1 ¼”, Points 10, Heel Opening 3 ⅜”, Weight of Both Spurs 1lb 2.6oz
