Danny is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. The spurs are marked D. Pollard, 1443, and Stith, TX on the inside of the heel bands. They are mounted with twenty pieces of nickel silver and twelve pieces of copper. The spurs are steel with a natural patina and are mounted with a steer head on the outside band and a bull on the offside band. There is some play in the rowels but the rowel pins are good. There are marks on the mountings from use. This would make a great pair of using spurs or a nice pair to add to a collection. Measurements: Heel Bands 1 ⅛”, Shank 2 ¼”, Rowels 1 ½”, Rowel Points 8, Heel Opening a little over 3 ¼”, Weight of both spurs 1lb 6.8oz Payment: We accept credit cards over the phone, PayPal, cashier’s check, check, or money order as payment.
