They are stamped with her maker stamp. Rachel does quality work with nice deep stamping. They are made of about ten to eleven ounce light oiled skirting leather and have a basket stamp pattern. They have engraved nickel spots around the edges. The strap edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The buckles are marked Rogers. They were made by long time bit and spur maker Don Rogers of Hereford, Texas. Don has been building since 1975 and his work is sought after by cowboys and collectors alike. Don is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. They are steel with a gray iron finish mounted with engraved nickel silver and brass. The buckles are attached to the straps with chicago screws. The holes as punched would fit a lady to about a man’s size 9 boot. There is room to punch additional holes up to about a 10 ½ size man’s boot. Please check the measurements below and if you need more holes punched please let us know at the time of payment and we will punch them for you prior to shipment. Rachel does a nice job and these would be a nice pair of straps to wear or to use to display with your collectible spurs.
