Description:
Family owned Hunter Jumper Barn in Kansas looking for Long term couple. This is not a riding job. Must be self motivated, non smoking, no drugs and VERY good with horses. Job would be cleaning 28 stalls, dumping spreader, feeding, turning out and bringing in horses, dumping and filling water buckets, cleaning wash stall and keeping barn clean. Dragging rings, blanketing, giving meds, fence repair, bringing horses in for vet or farrier, mowing, weed eating, filling solar tanks, night check at 9. Bring hay up to shed every other week. This is a 6 day a week job. 934 sq ft apartment, utilities, satellite, internet, workmen comp, 1 weeks paid vacation, $800.00 a week. We put up 7000 square bales of hay a year and will pay you extra if you want to help. If mechanically inclined and want to help with equipment we will pay extra. We will check with your past employers. We have a waiting list to get into our barn and some of the horses have been with us since 1996. We are looking for long term people who are looking for a family friendly place to work and live with horses being the top priority.
