Description:
This is a handmade 1” split ear headstall with a handmade buckle made by Kyle Carter from Melrose, New Mexico. It is marked K Carter on the back of the buckle. The buckle is steel and is mounted with nickel silver. It is attached to the headstall with chicago screws. The buckle is used. The headstall is made out of medium weight oiled skirting leather and is maker marked Riley Carter, Ponder, Texas. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The bit attaches with latigo tie strings. The headstall does not look like it has been on a horse but looks like it had a bit hanging on it.

Measurements: Headstall Length 36” to 45”, Strap Width 1”, Leather Thickness a little less 3/16”, Leather Weight 9 to 10 ounces
