Description:
This is a new handmade 1” split ear headstall with a handmade buckle made by Kevin Johnson from Clarendon, Texas. His work does not show up very often for sale. The back of the buckle is marked K Johnson. The buckle is steel and is mounted with copper. The steel around the outside edge of the buckle is scalloped. A lot of time went into making this buckle. It is attached to the headstall with latigo lace leather. The headstall is made out of oiled skirting leather and is not maker marked. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. It has tapered bit ends and the bit attaches with latigo tie strings.

Measurements: Headstall Length 34” to 41”, Strap Width 1”, Bit Ends ⅝”, Leather Thickness 3/16”, Leather Weight 11 to 12 ounces
