It is marked with his maker stamp Rafter 2H Leather. The headstall is made out of heavy duty skirting leather smooth side out and has a stamp pattern. It is lined with latigo and stitched around the outside edges. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The headstall is 1” and tapers to ¾” at the bit ends. The bit attaches with lace leather. The buckle was made by bit and spur maker Stephen White from Plainview, Texas and is marked with his maker stamp on the back. It is steel mounted with a nickel silver with copper in the center of the flowers. The buckle is attached to the headstall with latigo lace leather. This would be a really nice headstall to use.
