The spur straps were made by the legendary saddle maker Bob Marrs of Amarillo, Texas. Bob has been featured in many publications including Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. There was also an article about him in the March 2010 issue of Western Horseman. They are marked Bob Marrs, Maker, and Amarillo Texas. They are quality straps with nice deep poinsettia tooling made out skirting leather. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The buckles were made by Gene Rogers from Golden, Colorado and marked Rogers. Gene is listed in the Modern Makers spur book by Ned and Jody Martin. They are solid nickel and are attached with chicago screws. These straps will fit a lady to a medium man’s boot. Please check the measurements below. The straps were on a pair of spurs for display and do not look like they have been worn.
