Sage Creek Stock Saddle Co is owned and operated by custom saddle maker Gordon Andrus. They are marked Andrus on the back and also marked with his maker stamp under the buckle strap. Gordon Andrus is from Summit County, Utah and has been working leather since the mid 1970’s. The buckles were made by John Jennings from Shawnee, Oklahoma. John is an outstanding maker. The straps are pass through style and are hand tooled with a floral pattern with buckstitching around the outside edge. The buckles are steel mounted with sterling silver and brass. There is engraving in the steel around the mountings. The sterling concho in the center of the buckles are domed and are mounted with brass stars. The buckles are attached to the straps with chicago screws. The straps have not been worn but were on a pair of spurs for display. This would be a nice pair to wear or to display with a pair of spurs.
