RF WAS A WELL KNOWN SPURMAKER. He was the first Spurmaker to receive the "SPURMAKER OF THE YEAR" Award by the ACADEMY OF WESTERN ARTISTS in 1996.In 2010 RF made these Chichauwa PEACOCK Spurs. They were a LIMITED EDITION OF twenty, all twenty were spoken for, but he became ill and was not able to make only three pair. He passed away in 2011. This pair is his pattern pair. Marked Pattern for Limited Edition. Band marked RF FORD San Angelo,Tx.# 2269.
