From a litter of 10 pups the following are still available: 2 Clear Sable Females 2 Tri-Color Males ( could possibly brown out to be dark shaded sables like their sire) 2 Clear Sable Males Pups are registerer-able with the ES Club or UKC, or both if you wish. Will add more puppy pics in a another week or so when they are a bit bigger but here is three week pics. The clear sables will look just like their mom. Sire is from Montana with Busta, Parmely, Rimrock & Butcher lines Mother is from Indiana with Rust, Holden, Toren, Beebe & Cimarrron lines Both parents are great dogs both around livestock and kids. We have found English Shepherds to be great all-around dogs that are extremely low maintenance, can work hard, but are content to be companion dogs when there is no work at hand. Following excerpt is from the breed standard: English Shepherds are intelligent, alert, responsive working dogs. They are exceptionally devoted making them ideal watch dogs. Once bonded to their owners, they have a strong desire to work in partnership with them, whatever the task may be. At the end of the day they are content to lie at your feet. English Shepherds can be headers or heelers, most tend to be heelers, capable of herding and/or working with all types of livestock. Naturally work close to stock in an upright, loose-eye mode. Normally they will adjust the force needed to accomplish the task at hand. Their "natural instincts" are traits that are bred into them, not taught. They are exceptionally smart dogs that learn quickly by following and watching the owner on their daily rounds. English Shepherds are also a great help on the farm through their excellent tracking, hunting and treeing ability. Ridding property of unwanted predators whether it be coyotes, coons, and/or rodents is a true asset.
