Description:
This position is either for a couple or individual in North Carolina. Under the direction of the Farm Manager, the individual or couple hired will assist with any and all general farm duties, from general animal care to grounds and building maintenance. Duties include:



· Attend to the general health and well being of horses and other farm animals, including feeding, mucking out stalls, grooming, turning them out into paddocks or fields, etc. May include occasional riding but that is not a major part of the job.

· Maintain farm buildings, grounds, fields and fences, including mowing, paintings, installing fence, maintenance and repair, etc.

· Using all farm equipment, including trucks, trailers, chainsaws, weed whackers, mowers, tractors, rakes, shovels, etc.



Applicants should love horses and other farm animals and be passionate about their care and wellbeing, in addition to being open minded and willing to learn how this particular Farm handles horses and maintain the property. Application must have a high attention to detail, take pride in a job well done, have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team as well as alone. We are looking for an individual or couple who vies this opportunity not just as a job but as a desirable lifestyle.



Pay and benefits will be based on experience. Housing options are open for discussion
