Description:
Paadlock ranch is in need of a cowboy for a camp/crew position. This can be a seasonal deal or it can be fulltime. 2400 cow/calf pairs on the unit so you must be proficient in handling cattle horseback. Must be able to rope cattle to doctor and drag calves at branding. Cattle are moved on rotational grazing plan, so movements almost every day all season long. Must be able to fix fence, shoe horses, feed hay in winter, also be willing to shift over to other ranch units to help out at certain times, weaning, preg checking, feedlot, etc. Location of House is semi remote, has electricity, running water , heat, can be tough to get out in winter. Possible to be able to move you down to headquarters in winter. Can bring your own horses and I have ranch horses as well. Dogs are ok as long as you can control them, if you cant I will make you leave them at home. You will be with a crew most every day, but some tasks you perform on your own.
