Description:
My name is Emily. I’m a 22 year old young lady looking for her forever ranch job. Don’t let the "female" fool you, I can out work a lot of men.

A little about me: I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on an elk ranch.. I know what cold, nasty weather is. As I grew older, my family sold the elk and raised club calves and hogs. I started milking cows at the age of 16 morning and night. I wanted to pursue my love of cattle, so attended college pursuing Veterinary Technology. From there, I moved to Thedford, Nebraska and became a ranch hand/herdsman on a large angus operation. Towards the end of calving, I broke the tib and fib in my left leg- I was forced to move home. From there, I became the head herdsman on a 700 cow dairy. I gained quite a bit of knowledge on genetics, hard calvings, breeding, record keeping, immunizations, and doctoring. Today, I am living in Ord, NE working a desk job..



My Qualifications:

-Artificial Inseminator (have the numbers to back me up)

-beautiful record keeping skills

-Some roping

-Starting colts

-Very knowledgeable in herd health/doctoring

-some haying experience

-Calving

-2015 BQA certified (Nebraska)

-Know my way around a show barn-fit,clip, grow hair
