Description:
Excellent pair of Jerry Cates made spurs that are marked CATES 4225. They not been worn much. Do not have a solid brown patina yet. Great using/all around style by the late maker, who passed in 2011. In 2012 he was inducted into the National Cowboy Western Heritage Center and Museum, being honored with the Chester A. Reynolds award. Also, he was the co-winner of the first Adolph Bayers award, along with Billy Klapper. 1 1/16" bands, 1 1/2" rowels, 2 1/4" shank, 3 1/4" heel openings.
