Description:
Rare Jerry Cates made bit that is marked CATES 1165. Bit is in good used condition, a roller in the port of the 5 1/8" mouth. 7 1/2" cheeks. He done a lot of steel work, smoothing and shaping the inside of the circle part of the shanks. Jerry Cates was inducted in the hall at Oklahoma city, being awared the Chester A. Reynolds award.
