Hi there, we are Jimmy and Chelsea Ellis. We are in our late 20’s and looking for a permanent/long-term career in the ranching world, either work for a cattle ranch, caretaker position, horse ranch, or guest ranch. We are realizing how short life can be and want to chase our dreams, so here we are. We are both very hard workers, quick learners and wanting to learn more.

Jimmy is a United States Army Veteran who is very skilled in automotive mechanics. He can work on anything from tractors to diesel trucks, to forklifts to a compressor, anything with a motor he can fix. He also has years experience in welding, carpentry, concrete, plumbing, electrical and heavy machine operation. He has some experience with cattle and horses. At age 11 all the way to high school he worked on local dairies, and rode horses around town.

Chelsea has worked on two cattle ranches one being a grass finished cattle ranch, and two horse ranches. She can fix fence, do basic ranch maintenance, practice rotational gazing, sell beef, sort, check for illness and assist with births, and work and train problem horses. Also, she has hospitality experience from working at a local mountain summer camp and has some office assistant skills.



We are eager to learn and work. We like to keep busy and love working outside. Help us make our dreams come true!
