Description:
Rooted in generations of family owners, Two Less Farms covers nearly 800 acres in the wooded hills of North East Texas. Main operations include Grass-Finished Beef, Meat Rabbits and Pastured Poultry. Two Less Farms is always seeking efficient and innovative ways to improve the health of its operation, land, and animals. The overall goal: Sustainability. Some practices being currently developed and implemented include management intensive grazing, pasture raising chickens and pigs, planting cool/warm season cover crops, silvopasture, raising Registered Red Angus cattle, and bee keeping. Those selected for this internship will be on the ground learning about how Two Less Farms operates and have the opportunity to discover the “why” behind the practices being applied.
