Description:
Woodrow is a 4 year old, 14.3 hand, 1175#, sharp looking Bay Roan Ranch gelding. This is a very good minded, kind and gentle horse, in everyway. Made like the old timey Quarter Horses, really stout, thick heavy muscled, good bone and foot, with a little keen head, and big soft eye. Woodrow was bred by the Tongue River Ranch in West Texas and started as a two year old by a very good hand and was used by him as a 2 and 3 year old. Been used in the feedlot and wheat pasture program and has roped a lot outside. Very cowy and will slick his ears back and really watch one and is a big stopping, athletic horse. He rides one handed, low headed, and will pack any bridle you stick in his mouth. We have had Woodrow here in Central New Mexico in our cow/calf operation since the Fall. He is an outstanding Ranch gelding that is very gentle, a pleasure to be around, and will fit just about anyone.
