Husband has a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop and Weed Science with 15 years’ experience in agriculture. Both in production and research as well as took multiple classes in Animal and Range Science. Husband has experience in mechanics, construction (including heavy equipment and vertical, welding, farm equipment etc. Livestock experience including but not limited to: vet assistant work, stock yard work, calving, general animal maintenance and care, fencing, some haying, some farrier work, predator control, as well as horse work. He has been referred to as a "jack of all trades, master of none" and can rope, but is not "a roper". Also has professionally trapped coyotes for supplemental income in the winter months. Husband has a CDL. Wife has a DVM as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Management, a minor in Agribusiness and published research in ruminant nutrition. Licensed to practice in both MT and ND. Most experience has been with production animals, primarily beef cattle and sheep. Originally, from SE MT wife has been a part of the family Hereford operation since it’s “rebirth” in 2001. Wife is the brains of the operation, husband is the back. This couple is very family oriented and lives by the mantra, “if you love what you do, you never need a vacation”. Therefore, we’ve never taken a vacation, heck; we didn’t even have a honeymoon! That being said, we like to do a little bow hunting in the fall, as well as camping/fishing in the summer when it works out. Being available for our growing families commitments is a primary focus. Would prefer to stay in MT to be closer to family, but would move out of state for the right position. Provided housing would be preferential, but is not a deal breaker if housing is reasonably available in the area. We have dogs and horses .
