Description:
This is a Full time Ranch Hand/ Farm position.This Job position is minimally supervised, but applicant will be expected to be a self starter and able to complete assigned projects. The position is physically demanding and requires applicant to be in excellent physical condition. You must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. We run a 400 cow calve operation. Housing is provided. House is a 2 bedroom Cabin, and is heated with wood heat only.

Duties include but not limited to.

Calving of cows, Doctoring, Branding, Vaccinating, Pasture rotation, and making sure Salt and Mineral is provided.

Farming, We have a lot of Flood irrigation, some hand pipe, wheel lines, and Pivot irrigation. We also put up our own hay, so there is swathing, raking and baling of hay also hauling of hay. You will also have maintenance and general repair of said equipment. There is also Fencing to do on ranch and Allotments. We use ATV’s for Irrigating and horses for all other. Horses are provided or we allow up to 2 of your own. We are located 30 miles South of Salmon, Idaho.
