Description:
Looking for an experienced rider to work full time with a hall of fame cutting horse trainer. Housing provided on a 100 acre cattle ranch. Facilities include several uncovered round pens, a covered arena complete with flag, and three barns. A two bedroom house along utilities are provided on site. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow as a horseman. Duties at the ranch include but are not limited to saddling, washing, loping, turning back during cattle work, starting colts, and basic ranch upkeep as needed. There are anywhere from 25-35 horses in training at any one time so hours can be long. Many weekends are spent showing where duties include feeding, cleaning stalls, saddling, and warming horses up prior to classes. Experience with cows is a bonus but not required.
