I am a 20 year old clean, respectful, and hard working male looking for winter or full time position on a traditional cattle operation. If you feed with teams, that’s even better. I have experience in cow/calf, yearling, feedlot, and horse operations. I’m a huge fan of low stress handling. I am BQA certified, even though it’s common sense. I’m a cowboy and am not looking for a ranch hand job. I have a great respect for ranch hands but I’m more productive and happy being on a horse. I know almost everything that goes into ranching, a cowboy position with my family was earned by working your butt off doing ranch hand jobs. I’m not scared to be on the ground, but I’d like to be on a horse as much as possible. I come from sand land so I’m learning how to shoe right now and I’m also learning to drive teams. I come from Texas and love my bell step in leggings and cowpuncher style, but I’m open to any tradition. I’ve just started roping with a long rope on a slick horn. I love the different cultures of the lifestyle. I’m young and I DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING, but I do want to learn as much as possible. A bunkhouse position riding colts and taking care of cattle would be ideal. I don’t care about anything other than horses and cattle, so I won’t be running to town every weekend. The more rural and less I have to go to town, the better. I have goals in my life and know the only way to achieve them is hard work and dedication. I’d like to find a winter job right now, because I love my summer job. I would consider a full time job if it’s the right fit. I’m looking for a long term opportunity with an operation. I’m not a job floater. I currently live in Montana and would like to stay here, but I will consider other locations. I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL OCTOBER 1, 2016.
