Description:
Adams Land and Cattle is seeking a leadership-minded individual to assist with the supervising, coordinating, and delegating of the Cattle Health personnel and operations. This position is located at our South Lot in Broken Bow, NE.



This person is responsible for:

• Assisting the Cattle Health Area Supervisor with the supervising, coordinating, and delegating of Cattle Health personnel and operations.

• Leading the mobile doctoring crews and assisting the area supervisor with the day-to-day coordination of the recoup and necropsy assistants.

• Promoting teamwork and assisting with employee growth and development, while maintaining efficiency of personnel to maximize production goals.

• Ensuring the daily operations of Cattle Health are conducted accurately and consistently. This also includes ensuring the adherence of protocols.

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of special pens.

• Maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and facilities assigned to the Cattle Health area.

• Monitoring reports and information flow to computers by inputting records in accordance with regulations and protocols.

• Driving a culture of safety, animal welfare, and continuous improvement across all teams.



Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

• One (1)+ years of previous cattle doctoring experience.

• Previous feedlot experience is preferred.

• Strong interest or experience in leadership.

• Beef Quality Assurance experience.

• Must be team-oriented.

• High attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Flexibility to adapt to other job roles as needed.



This position requires:

• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold temperatures.
