My extensive experiences include: Working ranch setting/crew, outfitting sector/crew and guest ranch setting/crew. I value working with any ranch owner to establish or adjust a program, timetable including mid and long term goals to benefit your unique business enterprise. My hands on approach would highly profit an absentee owner, split operation or working ranch with small guest outfit, where someone wants to have peace of mind. The current employer of over 16 years values my commitment, pro-activeness, knowledge, integrity, and ability to work unsupervised, especially while absent. My abilities include: Training and guiding a crew of up to ten employees, decision making to benefit ranching operation, all phases of cow calf operation incl. feeding, herding, doctoring, calving, preventative care, grazing/pasture management. I am equality versed caring and working with horses as well as buying/selling, herding, doctoring, spotting health problems early, foaling, feeding program and shoeing schedule. In the past I was in charge of running 100 head of horses including the coordination of maintenance and repair of tack, fences, buildings, equipment and roads. Additional skills: Very good people and communication skills Heavy machinery operation incl. cat and backhoe Carpentry – very good Mechanic – basic (maintenance small repairs) Welding – good (MIG-TIG, stick ARC and cutting) Maintenance and construction of ranch buildings Excellent project management skills Operation of ranch and associated farm machinery Haying and irrigation CDL license (all endorsements) Strong problem solving ability Very committed and loyal Experienced in international ranch tourism setting Extremely good professional references!
