Thank you we have received an overwhelming amount of applicants.



We have one position for a Married ranch hand. This is not a cowboy job. About 40% riding and 60% general ranch work. We are a large family owned cow/calf operation in central Wyoming. I can’t stress enough we are remote. Nearest town is 80 miles with 22 of that being dirt road (which is sometimes snowed in). We don’t have phone lines and cell service is sketchy. We use Union Wireless (a Wy company) and it works fairly well.



While we would love to do everything horseback because of our size and time constraints we use motorcycles often so must be willing to ride one.



Duties include: branding, moving cows, shipping, putting out mineral/salt, maintaining vehicles and machinery, lots of fencing, up keep of the place, construction, irrigation, etc. No Haying. We don’t mind on the job training.



You will be working along side owner and one other hired hand who has been with us starting his 3rd year. We work at a high pace and like to get things done but expect it done the right way. Our cattle come first and foremost and we try to handle our cattle as stress free as possible. Will not ask you to do anything we wont do or haven’t done. We try to include families as we have several young families between the three units on the ranch. Your family is welcome to go with when possible.







3 Bedroom/1 bath house that we remodeled 2 years ago. Small fenced yard surrounds it. We do not supply washer/dryer.







$2000/month possible year end bonus

Can have up to 4 personal horses we provide pasture/hay, shots/wormer. We don’t supply special feed, or vet care.



work is 6 days a week and take turns doing chores on Sundays. We try to stay on 7 to 5 schedule but in reality that can vary lots during busy time.
