Description:
We are looking for a ranch job where we can gain more experience. I’m 23 and have about 8 years experience with horses. I have dabbled in dressage, jumping, trail riding, reining, western pleasure, and ground work. The last 3 years have been focused on reining. I’ve had some experience being around beef cows and helping with hay season (stacking hay). I have experience being an assistant manager and an assistant trainer. I have some experience with tractors, no roping exp., and very little calving and doctoring.

My boyfriend is 22, and has been around horses his whole life. He participated in rodeo throughout high school. He has 3 years experience being a ranch hand on a grain farm in KS that ran about 450 head. Experience roping from horseback. Has delivered breeched calves and has used a calf jack. He’s been in every position from roping to giving vaccines and running a hot brand. He is also a volunteer firefighter. He has mechanic and welding experience as well.

We’re looking for work in CO, SD, WY, or MT. Housing would be necessary. We have our own form of transportation. We do not smoke, but have 2 dogs.
