Description:
Roaming cowboy-girl in desperate need of a new job. I am 22 years old, unmarried, no kids, no pets (1 horse available for work if necessary), no drugs, no tobacco use, won’t show up to work hungover, I have personal transportation, I am UTD on my shots (including rabies), I have a Bachelor’s of science degree in wildlife management with a minor in large animal science. I am fit, healthy, and able to take direction well. I was born into an active duty military family so I understand accountability and structure.

I can cook, clean a house and barn, train your horses train your dogs, take care of wild game, wild horses, and manage wild employees. I can be slave labor, the show groom, the barn hand, the trailer driver, the secretary, etc. I have cleaned barns for olympians and catch rode horses at shows for top professionals in the industry. I can shear your alpacas, sheep, and small children. I can give IM, IV, and SQ injections I have vet tech experience AND I’m a certified equine massage therapist. I can ear tag your steers, ear notch your hogs, butcher your chickens, paint the fences, milk your cows, shoot nuisance wildlife, wrangle snakes and spiders, and politely talk to clientele or visitors. I can polish boots, wash trucks, clean saddles, and blow dry fake horse tails.

Originally from Maryland, currently located in Oklahoma, born in Arizona, and I’ve even lived in Europe. I have NO opposition to relocating, but I’d like to stay in the lower 48. I have worked for farms/ranches/horse trainers from Pennsylvania to California, and everything in between. I have managed alpaca farms, goat farms, worked on dairy farms, judged livestock shows, worked summer camps, mucked stalls, etc.

My strengths are in riding, exercising, and training horses as well as ALL aspects of barn work that go with having horses and livestock. I have competed, shown, and or trained in: western pleasure, western riding, western & english horsemanship, three day eventing, hunters, jumpers, western & classical dressage, competitive trail, english and western trail, barrel racing, gaming, and halter.

I am extremely open and willing to any other disciplines (i.e. cutting, penning, sorting) and easy to teach and ready to learn. My base horsemanship skills from my years of riding allow me to transcend easily into riding most any discipline, and I learn something new from my horses every day.

I keep an open mind and I am eager to help you and your team. Anything you are willing to teach me or ask me to do I will be ready to do. Honestly, I really am trying to avoid moving back home, and the wildlife biology field is hard pressed to hire right now so I am resorting back to trying to get into the ranch/horse industry, as my current job is ending on December 14th.
