Description:
This saddle is a Ranch Roper made by Larry Duggan of Cowboy Saddle Shop in Canyon, Tx. Larry has worked under the direction of Bob Marrs of Amarillo, Tx and has taught the art of saddle making as well at Texas State Technical Institution also of Amarillo, Tx, for a number of years. He now makes custom saddles in his shop in Canyon, Tx to sell to the public. This saddle is a seat size 14.5”. Beautiful waffle tooling is stamped on the back jockey, skirts, and fork cover of this saddle. A leather roper style flank cinch is included, Leather back billets, a nylon tie strap, and nylon off billet are also included. This saddle features Custom made drop down D rings, a padded rust colored hand-stitched seat with a buck stitch border around the sides and front of the seat. Rawhide silver laced cantle binding overlay. Used rawhide wrapped roper style stirrups with leather treads. Real wool underside is in fair condition as pictured. Waffle tooled leather wrapped horn. Six custom made conchos with new dark oiled strings. Custom billet holder on left hand side of saddle as well. Stamped under both fenders reads: “TRISH HOOVER CHANDLER OKLA 5-258-91”. A beautifully detailed saddle. Would be wonderful to have.
