This individual(s) must be willing to work the long hours needed to operate and maintain a cattle operation using advanced cattle management techniques. The ideal individual(s) will be hard working, honest, reliable, possess a positive attitude and have pride in their work. They must be self motivated and be able to work well individually or with others. Experience is a must and any Ag degrees are a plus. This is a highly physical position, not a management position, and will require able bodied individuals. This position will report to the ranch manager and work hand in hand with the lead cattleman and other ranch employees on a daily basis. They will be expected to communicate effectively and efficiently with all other employees. This position will be responsible for other phases of ranch maintenance also, not just cattle. Having the ability to run/maintain heavy equipment would be a plus for this position. Salary plus housing and utilities are provided along with beef and a ranch truck for ranching duties. This position is allowed to have four (4) personal horses at no cost, if they are used for ranch work. We are seeking long term candidates, please, serious inquiries only.
