Deep Creek Ranch is a buffalo ranch with a small yearling cattle operation. We also host guests in the summer. The wrangler would be in charge of the 20-25 ranch horses and responsible for checking on the yearling cattle that graze on a forest permit adjoining the ranch. The horses are wrangled into the corral 6 days/week. The wrangler is expected to keep the horses legged-up and ready for guests. Applicants must have good people skills and the ability to help our guests improve their riding skills. Much of the time the wrangler works alone, but additional help is available if the job requires. Nice bunkhouse with private room provided. Overtime pay for over 40hrs/week.
