Description:
Looking for a long-term/full-time individual to work on a 400-500 cow/calf unit ranch of a 1000 acres in Southwest Iowa (15 minutes to Downtown Omaha). This opening is for an all-around reliable ranch employee that handles livestock and land management duties, and not just a cowboy/horse job.



Duties would include but not limited to: feeding livestock, pasture rotation management, calving, haying, silage harvesting, fencing, timber clearing, dirt work, running heavy equipment, machinery maintenance, and general animal healthcare. Some assistance may be needed with a related row crop operation during the busiest times and general land and facility maintenance for other related properties.



Cattle experience is required, mechanical aptitude and CDL is a plus but not required. Applicants must have completed high-school and have a valid driver’s license. Additional schooling/training would be a plus. Candidate must be self-motivated, energetic, honest, responsible, and able to work alone or with others, strong work ethic, self-starter, and takes pride in the equipment and workplace.
