Description:
Pharo Cattle Company is recruiting candidates for an entry-level position. Employee will be responsible for shop maintenance, maintaining/repairing vehicles and equipment and electric fence maintenance/construction. Job duties will also include feeding cattle; monitoring livestock for sickness; assisting with processing, evaluating and videoing bulls prior to sales; and other general ranch duties as needed. Motivated, self-starters who can speak, read and write English are encouraged to apply.



PCC was recently listed as the 9th largest producer of seedstock bulls in the US. Our headquarters are in eastern Colorado just 17 miles from the Colorado/Kansas border. We currently market over 800 bulls annually via 4 sales, 2 local and 2 regional. We will add a 5th sale in 2016 to meet existing demand.



Ours is a range operation with no haying or irrigating involved. We graze year round and calve in May/June. The bulls in our fall sales are developed on grass throughout the summer. As such, there is work that is done horseback although not on a daily basis.
