The mill is a state of the art, 100% computer automated, and one of the few FDA approved facilities. Adams Land and Cattle has an exciting opportunity for a FEEDLOT MILL OPERATOR to work with the feeding and mill team to operate the feed mill at maximum efficiency. Looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented individual to operate the feed mill at maximum efficiency. Individual must comply with all safety rules and policies. This person is responsible for: • Ensuring Feed Mill quality control protocols and procedures. • Maintaining efficiency of all Feed Mill equipment and personnel to maximize production goals. • Maintaining and repairing of all equipment and providing cleanliness of whole area (mill, pit loader, and load out). • Responsible for inventory of all feed ingredients, maintaining ingredient piles – keeping clear, distinguishable, separate piles for different ingredients and ensuring tarp and tires are kept out of feed. • Works with Procurement to maintain ingredient inventories & investigate discrepancies. • Monitoring and maintaining reports and information flow to machines & Mill computers, input records in accordance with FDA and QA to ensure quality feed product. Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications: • Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making. • Driven, organized, action-orientated, analytical, and ability to multi-task. • High attention to detail. • Individual must be team-oriented. • Proven professional communication, presentation, persuasion, and customer service skills. • Serve all customers both internally and externally with a positive, professional, respectful and courteous attitude with honesty and integrity.
