Description:
Looking for help calving 120 Reg. first calf heifers and 100 Reg. Cows. Position would start mid/late Dec. (first AI date is Jan.2) and run through May. You would be responsible for feeding, calving, record keeping, spring fencing, and management of all cattle during this time period. Heifers are all AI’ed to LBW bulls so calving should not be an issue. You must have experience calving. At this time, lodging would be onsite in a 2010 31 foot travel trailer but could change to a house by calving time. ATV and truck will be provided. All bills will be paid. If you have a horse it can be used but not a necessity. You will be your owe boss so being self motivated is a must. Help would be available 20 min away if needed. Must be capable of this position. $1500 month + live calf bonus turned out in the spring. This could lead into a full time position if things work out. Please don’t call.
