Description:
Long term, full time position available on a 300+ cow calf operation in Southeastern Montana located in the middle of the beautiful Custer National Forest.

Major work phases includes spring calving, dryland haying, equipment maintenance, fencing, tank and pipeline maintenance, winter feeding. Cattle work is done horseback so advanced riding skills are necessary. The ability to think through the consequences of your actions and a good work ethic are important. Your input and discussion of a project are important prior to initiation of the work and would be a valuable asset. The important result is timely completion of the job, not the method used to get it done.



Would like to find someone to become the full-time manager so I can retire or at least cut back my work hours.
