Description:
We are adding a full time, long-term equipment operator position to our western South Dakota family ranch. We are looking for an individual who is willing to spend the majority of their time behind a windshield, and is not looking for a cowboy only position. You will be expected to help with the cattle operation as needed, however your primary duties would include:



Farming

Haying

Equipment repair

Welding

Fencing

Irrigation

Feeding in the winter



This is not a management position; you will be expected to work alone, as well as part of a team depending on the job at hand. Experience handling cattle horseback is helpful. Knowledge on how to handle cattle quietly and with minimal stress is preferred. We do not tolerate drugs, smoking, or excessive alcohol. We will treat you honestly and fairly and expect the same in return.



Salary, meat and housing is included, horses may be discussed as well. Families are welcome.
