Description:
Remote north-east Wyoming ranch is in search of all-round couple. The requirements of this position are very specific. Serious inquiries only from qualified applicants, please.



Requirements:

1)At least one of you must have knowledge about gaited horses and how to set their gaits. This is not a colt starting position or general training position. Your training knowledge needs to be specific to gaited horses, preferrably Fox Trotters.

2)You must be competant with all aspects of herd health. There is a large herd of horses to maintain at their peak condition. Horses are in a variety of settings: pasture, pens, stalls…

3)You must be willing and ABLE to work in the extreme weather conditions that occur in our area. The worse the weather is, the more the stock needs you. There will be no excuse for not completing your duties due to inclement weather.

4)You must be clean. This is a top notch facility and will need to be treated as one.

5)You must be willing to act as caretakers. When the owners are at the ranch you must be willing to take them on rides, prepare their house, clean house when they leave, help care for the property, etc.

6)You must be able to live in a remote location. This ranch is an hour and twenty minutes from the closest store/gas station. We are 25 miles up a dirt road. You do not just run to town every time you need something. There is no cell service until you reach town.

7)You must be able and willing to communicate with other ranch employees and owners daily. You must be able to work hand in hand with others.



Bonus Skills:

1)Knowledge of growing/working a garden and greenhouse would be a bonus.

2)Knowledge of equine breeding would be a bonus.

3)Heavy equipment experience would be a plus.

4)Computer experience would be a plus.





This position has nothing to do with the cattle portion of our ranch. We are actively searching for a couple that meets the requirements listed above.
